Considering the multitude of problems the light in Micolash's eyes has caused, surely no one would fault Abysa for being unsettled by it. Even those without eyes can see that whatever this energy is, it's of a wicked, rotten sort. The hand covering his eyes makes the scholar frown in confusion before realizing that, yes, his eyes are open. He'd not even noticed he'd done so, especially because there is no change or transition in his sight. It remains the same black either way. Not even a faint haze or glint of light is getting through his tortured eyes and the fresh realization of his situation makes Micolash whimper again.

And then the kiss is placed against his lips. It's brief and warm, such a mundane and simple gesture. And while the human has yet to feel anything beyond the usual application of Abysa's calming aura, the shiver the demon makes is felt. Hard not to, since Micolash is gathered up in his lap like he is.
